Join us in welcoming Author Loretta Ellsworth to the library on Tues., Oct. 24th, at 6 pm. Her debut adult novel, Stars Over Clear Lake is set in Clear Lake, Iowa. Her books have been awarded many accolades, including Teen’s Top Ten Finalist, ALA and IRA Notables, New York Library List of Books for the Teen Age, Midwest Bookseller’s Choice Honor Award, Midwest Connection’s Pick, BBCB Choice, NEMBA (North Eastern Minnesota Book Award) finalist, Rebecca Caudill Nominee, and Charlotte Award Nominee.




Hannah Griggs Art Program

Come enjoy a day of Arts & Crafts with your kids. The Hannah Griggs Art Program will take place on Thurs. Oct. 26th from 10 am - 6 pm. Come anytime throughout the day. Children must be accompanied by an adult. This program is sponsored by the Griggs family.

On Saturday, November 4th from 1 to 4 p.m., the Cannon Falls Library will host antiques and collectibles appraiser Mark F. Moran for What’s It Worth? Pre-registration at the library is required for appraisals, but spectators are welcome at any time during the event. Please call the Cannon Falls Library at 263-2804 to reserve your spot. There is no cost for items appraised at the library on the date of the event. Categories of objects for appraisal may include: Fine art, including paintings, drawings, prints and statuary.
