Salon Branoul: Nachtroer

The Belgian writer Charlotte van den Broeck (born 1991) published her second book of poetry Nachtroer in 2017. The poems are like nomadic journeys. The book is named after a night shop in Antwerpen that forms the departure point for the poems that are connected as part of a journey detailing love, loss and estragement. Bassonist Amber Mallee performs works for bassoon solo and bassoon and piano mirroring the mysterious night journey in the poetry.
