Our Five Questions Class is returning! For 6 Wednesdays– November 6, 13, 20, 27 and December 4, 11 – participants will delve into the five most important questions human beings might ask: What does it mean to be human? How do I know what I know? Who or what is in charge? What is the meaning of life? What is the meaning of death? The class will be held in the Mortenson Room from 7:30 to 9:00 PM and will be led by UUCM member Jerry Boutcher. Be sure to sign up no later than the first class by calling (973) 744-6276 or emailing email@example.com.
October marked 10 years together for our Men’s Group, a span full of lively conversations about men’s roles, challenges, needs and responsibilities in a complex modern world. All men are welcome to join us. Bring your aspirations, concerns, empathy and good humor to meetings on the second Saturday each month (from 8:30 to 10:30 AM in the Alliance Room) and annual Spring weekend retreats. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more info. We look forward to seeing you!
Reserve a place for your child or children. Dedications are scheduled on Sunday November 19th and Sunday April 1st. Rather than provide baptisms or christenings, Unitarian Universalists offer child dedication ceremonies for infants and children. Child dedications are opportunities to: • Bless the new life of the child • Express the parent or parents’ hopes for the child • Express the congregation's commitment to support and nurture for the child Email Rev. Our holiday pageant is coming up, you might not have heard much about it because we're planning on doing things a little bit differently. Instead of meeting up multiple times for many rehearsals, we are going to have ONE rehearsal the day before Saturday, December 16, 2017 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. We're looking for youth and those who are young at heart. You don't even need to have a child in the RE program. The pageant is a multigenerational experience, so all ages are valuable. We're hoping to show a display of the six following holidays: Yule , Diwali, Hanukkah, Advent, Christmas, Kwanz...

Please join us for our annual festive Wassail fellowship in Fletcher Hall following the 7:30 Christmas Eve service! Also, we would be grateful for contributions of cookies/sweets, cheese & crackers, red & green grapes, and red and green pepper slices. We also need help with set-up, serving, and clean-up. Please contact Deb Ellis at firstname.lastname@example.org if you are able to donate food or talent.
